Your membership

These terms describe Land Uncovered LLC's membership. Membership availability is shown in your account. Signing in does not buy a membership; a test subscription does not create a paid membership.

What you can uncover

Bring available public-source information together, keep private notes, compare saved properties and download research summaries. Before starting a new property report, review its identity and boundary. An address match alone does not establish a parcel boundary, ownership or a property for sale.

Coverage and source dates vary. A report explains what was checked, what was found and what still needs confirmation. Saved research is a dated snapshot, not a continuously updated inspection.

Price and renewal

The membership offer is $12 USD per month, plus any applicable tax shown at checkout. Stripe processes payment. Membership renews monthly until you cancel. Creating an account does not start a subscription: checkout will show the recurring charge and ask you to agree before purchase.

Room to explore

Membership includes 50 new research attempts per UTC calendar month, up to 10 per UTC day and 3 per minute. Reopening or exporting saved findings and comparing existing scored reports do not use your allowance. If Compare creates a missing scored report, that new research uses your allowance and keeps the original findings.

A new check or refresh counts, including when a source cannot return information. Unused attempts do not roll over. Allowance resets follow the calendar, so they may differ from your billing date.

Shared spending safeguards, source outages or excessive requests can temporarily pause new research. Use one account for your own research and keep your sign-in secure. Automated bulk requests, account sharing and attempts to bypass limits are not permitted. If normal use is interrupted, please let us help.

Cancel when you need to

Cancel renewal through Manage membership before the next billing date. Your research access continues through the paid period, subject to the allowance and safeguards. A failed renewal pauses new paid research.

Canceling membership does not close your account. Your saved findings remain available to view, compare and export while your account is open.

Refund requests

If your first month isn’t working out, email hello@landuncovered.com within seven days of your initial payment to request a refund. The owner reviews each request; a request does not guarantee a refund. Cancellation and refunds are separate actions. This policy does not limit rights you have under applicable law.

Use findings as a starting point

Land Uncovered supports preliminary research. Reports are not surveys, title searches, appraisals, environmental determinations, engineering advice or permission to build, use or enter land. Before buying or making plans, confirm boundaries, legal access, current conditions and applicable rules with the responsible offices and qualified professionals.

A check with missing or incomplete information is an open question, not an assurance that no issue exists. County-specific findings apply only to the jurisdiction and date identified.

Your notes and account

You keep ownership of the notes and material you provide. Only save material you have permission to use, and keep passwords, financial details and sensitive information about other people out of research notes. We process your material to provide and protect the service.
